Grow your nails with acrylic nails
Having long and healthy nails is every woman’s dream. However, maintaining them can be tough, not to mention, time consuming. Nowadays, artificial or acrylic nails are available to solve the problem and save women the trouble of growing them. Earlier on, they were mostly used on special occasions like weddings, parties, etc.; but now some women like to use them on a daily basis to make their hands look well-manicured and beautiful.
For women who are unable to grow their nails, acrylic ones are a great option. They are simply glued onto the natural ones. After they have been suitably trimmed, buffed and shaped, they look healthy and great. Many great designs can be created on them. Nowadays, the latest trend among women is getting nail art done. These are best done on acrylic ones as they are smoother. French manicures or any other type of manicure looks much better on acrylic.
Nail tips for weak and rough nails
Gel nails are another option. They are preferred by many women to other types of artificial nails. They can be used to cover the whole nail or just as nail tips. Since they are made from organic plants, they are said to be non-toxic. Women are turning to this synthetic product instead of acrylic ones due to health-related issues. They are the best solution for women who have weak and rough nails but want to get art work done on them.
While getting acrylic nail tips, there are a few precautions one must take to prevent infections. Exposure to water can cause water to seep in and cause the area to get infected. Additionally, a gap can be built up between the fake and natural, again causing fungus growth and infection. Nail technicians recommend using rubber gloves while doing chores like washing dishes, etc. It is important to remember that high quality products reduce the risk of this damage. There are 2 types of liquid used in making acrylic nails- EMA (Ethyl Methacrylate) and MMA (Methyl Methacrylate). The best and safest quality is made by EMA and hence, it is recommended that this product is used even though it is slightly more expensive than the other.
With the gel ones, all you need to remember is to be in a properly ventilated room, or outdoors, while removing them and also to make sure all excess residues from the gel is removed and cleaned properly.
Once the nail tips are in place, they are ready to be polished and decorated any way you like.
